Worst dressed celebs: Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon failed to impress at Zee Cine Awards 2019 – It was that time of the year when stars came together to celebrate some of the best performances of the year gone by. It was time for Zee Cine Awards 2019. The annual award show recognised best performances from 2018 and presented awards to deserving stars. While we’re obviously interested to know who makes it to the Zee Cine Awards 2019 winners list, we also had our eyes glued to the Zee Cine Awards 2019 red carpet. While several Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif made the red-carpet event such a visual treat, there were others who left our eyes popping with shock with their fashion choices and found their way into our worst dressed celebs list.
Celebrities like Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani were a few of those who walked onto the red carpet and entered our list.
We were left scratching our heads when we saw Kriti stepping into the award function wearing a black and blue gown. While we would like to compare her with a mermaid, given the fin-like train of her gown but it wasn’t a mermaid we would take with us to Disneyland. Her smoky eye makeup reminded us of Angelina Jolie from Maleficent.
On the other hand, Kiara left us running for covers when she stepped out wearing a bright yellow embellished gown. The Kabir Singh actress flaunted her long legs through the thigh-high slit but our attention couldn’t go to her toned legs because of the remaining gown. The half embellished, and half silk gown did not blend well. And what’s with the uneven cold-shoulder sleeve? Kiara, we’ve seen you pull off much better outfits.
Another yellow beauty who did not impress was Kubbra Sait. The Sacred Games actress wore a yellow ensemble which did not fit her or bring out the best of her looks. The extra clothing around her waist seemed like a Kangaroo pouch, sorry but not sorry and the makeup too wasn’t at its best either.
Chitrangda Singh’s gown should have been a curtain and not a dress in the first place. The actress, who sported a floral outfit for the occasion, turned off the glamour switch when she walked the red carpet. The waist and bust portion of the outfit wasn’t fitted properly and it was evident.
Like Chitrangada, Ridhi Dogra’s outfit also was supposed to be something that should have been hung up on a wall and not on the star. The outfit did not deserve a red carpet and what’s with the orange footwear?
