Priyanka Chopra, who has been charged guilty for keeping the nation waiting for over 2 years now, has finally returned to begin work on her Bollywood comeback film – the Kalpana Chawla biopic. How beautiful is it to see her flaunting that smile wearing a classy satin white cape along with baby blue high-waist trousers. Her airport look is as refreshing as her return to Mumbai. How we missed you PC! Thank you for making time for India.
From the little that we know, PC will be here in the city for about 3-4 months from now as she wants to wrap up her major portions of shooting before going back to NYC. This is precisely also the reason why it took so long for Priyanka to hop onto her Bollywood project because until last week, the actress was busy juggling between the shooting of her popular TV series – Quantico 3 and her two upcoming Hollywood releases – A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic?” But now that the Desi Girl is back to treat the Indian audience, we are impatient to see her on the big screen already. Talking about the much anticipated Kalpana Chawla biopic, a source had recently revealed to a daily saying, “The film will be mounted on an international scale. A new production company, Getway, is likely to produce the biopic.” For those of you who don’t know, Chawla was born in March 1962 in Karnal, Haryana. Chawla, who received her early education from the Tagore Bal Niketan School, completed her aeronautical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. She moved to the US in 1982 and started working with NASA in 1988. Chawla died in February 2003 when space shuttle Columbia carrying her and fellow astronauts disintegrated after catching fire while returning to earth.
