She usually has her funny mode on but today is an extremely emotional day for Twinkle Khanna. The actress posted a candid throwback picture of her late father, Rajesh Khanna, on Instagram on his death anniversary today. The actress did not add any caption to the image. Well, few emotions are best expressed through images and no words. It is an old candid image of a beautiful moment between Twinkle and her father. Twinkle has always given her father the credits for pushing her and being the force behind her writing career. She has always been vocal about her relationship with her late father.

Rajesh Khanna has given us some of the most memorable films like Swarg, Anand and Kati Patang. Earlier, Twinkle replied to a fan talking about how her father motivated her to become a writer. She wrote, “Dad always said I should be a writer-was proud of my maggot filled poetry-would’ve been beaming that I got that paper in my hand eventually.” And she’s a damn good writer, too. Her books have been a favourite, just like her social media account. Her sense of humour is one of the most favourite qualities that fans love about her.

Well, we can’t deny that we’re damn emotional looking at this picture. Rajesh Khanna passed away five years ago on this day, of prolonged illness at the age of 69. After interior designing and writing, Twinkle has now moved on to production with Akshay Kumar’s Padman. Well, expect a lot of funny, sarcastic tweets from her when the film goes on floors.
