Trending Tunes Sunny Leone Trippy Trippy and Sidharth Malhotra Bandook Meri Laila are hit this week – of the best song from last week – Trending Tunes: Sunny Leone’s Trippy Trippy and Sidharth Malhotra’s Bandook Meri Laila are hit this week
And here we are again to make your Sunday morning more musical. As you sip on your cup of tea, listen to our favourite picks from the past week. First off, Neha Kakkar is a rockstar. We have two song sung by the gorgoues, talented lady on our latest edition of Trending Tunes. Then of course we finally have Bandook Meri Laila – song for which we had been waiting since the trailer of A Gentleman was released. So, here we go….turn the volume up and let go of your worries for a few minutes…
Bandook Meri Laila (A Gentleman)
While this number is nice to listen, we feel a little budget could have been spent on the music video as well. The video is so underwhelming. Sachin- Jigar do a great job with the music, and all the singers do a great job. It was a good call to have a mix of talented singers for this number. Gives an edge and different energies to parts of the song. Though Sidharth is credit as singer for the song, we can’t really figure out where he lent his voice.
Trippy Trippy (Bhoomi)
What a trippy song. Aptly titled. Sunny Leone is definitely becoming a commendable dancer with every song she does. Neha Kakkkar’s voice is intoxicating. Kudos to Priya Saraiya and Badshah for such catchy lyrics. And Sachin Jigar nail it again with this number.
hungta (Babumoshai Bandookbaaz)
We told you Neha Kakkar is ruling the music chars this month. What an energetic and sultry number. On one hand its Neha giving the song the required notes, and then there is the sexy Shraddha Das dancing with all her rustic sexiness. A must watch.

Lagdi Hai Thaai (Simran)
Lagdi Hai Thaai is a wedding number. As Indians, we love weddings and dancing at weddings. Kangana already has the hit wedding song, London Thumakda, to her credit, and Lagdi Hai Thaai is another lovely addition. The song is full of energy and simplicity. It is not organised and choreographed like Joote Le Lo from Hum Aapke Hain Koun, or any other wedding song for that matter, but rather features the same synchronised chaos that you see at any Indian wedding’s dance party.
Twist Kamariya (Bareilly Ki Barfi)
Sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Yasser Desai, Tanishk and Al Ta Mash, the music has been composed by Tanishk – Vayu. They’re the same duo who managed to give us chartbusters like Banno from Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Badrinath Ki Dulhania title track and Tamma Tamma Again and much more in the recent past. Have to admit, the music composers have proven their mettle yet again with this track which is definitely going to be a major hit at all wedding parties!
Which one is your favourite?
