Tezaab director feels Baaghi 2 song Ek Do Teen is “crass beyond imagination”; to take legal action against the makers.
Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani‘s Baaghi 2 is one of the most exciting films of the year. From the stills to the trailer and the song, all the promotional materials till now, had made everyone excited for the movie. However, the latest song – Ek Do Teen, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, has recieved a lot of flak. The remake of the iconic number from Tezaab was supposed to be a tribute to the original song, however no one saw it like that. In fact, Tezaab director N Chandra is very unhappy with the new version. First of all, he didn’t know about the song being remade. And then when he heard it, he felt Ek Do Teen‘s latest version was “crass beyond imagination,” according to a report in Quint.
In the same report, Tezaab director N Chandra revealed that it was choreographer Saroj Khan who informed him about Jacqueline Fernandez’s version of Madhuri Dixit’s iconic dance number. As he told The Quint, “She (Saroj Khan) came to me and said, ‘Have you seen what they’re doing to our Ek Do Teen number?’ I had no clue. That’s when Saroj ji told me that the makers of Baaghi 2 were doing a new version of Ek Do Teen.
N Chandra is so furious that he plans to take legal action against the makers of Baaghi 2. But he’s not the only one. According to him, Saroj Khan is also planning to take matters to the court. As the director added to the website, “She (Saroj Khan) said she will take legal action against it. I can’t believe they’ve done this to Ek Do Teen. It’s crass beyond imagination. And Jacqueline Fernandez doing Madhuri Dixit’s number? Give me a break! It’s like turning the Central Park into a botanical garden. Saroj ji and I are definitely taking action.” What do you think about this latest revelation? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below!
