Saba Qamar went on to call Salman Khan a chichora and Emraan Hashmi to giving mouth cancer. Even Riteish Deshmukh was not spared for not being an 'A class' actor, that she is.
Earlier we did a story about a viral video featuring Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Hindi Medium co-starring Irrfan Khan. In the video, which seemed to be a part of a talk show segment, Good Morning Zindagi has the host of the show playing a game with the actress. The game was about Saba being shown pics of certain Bollywood actors and and if they actors were to ask her out to date, how would she react. While the format of the game was supposed to be fun, Ms Qamar took the idea of fun a bit too far, and she went on to call Salman Khan chichora and Emraan Hashmi to giving mouth cancer. Even Riteish Deshmukh was not spared for not being an ‘A class’ actor, that she is. The only actor that was spared from her ‘barbs’ was Ranbir Kapoor, whom she did not mind dating, but he was already hooked to Deepika Padukone (Err, what?)
Needless to say, Saba Qamar has been under the fire from the actors’ fans for insulting the idol. IANS had contacted Saba over phone, and this is what she has to say about the incident, “It was a fun show… There was nothing in it… ‘Koffee With Karan’ mein kya kuchch nahi hota (What all does not happen on ‘Koffee With Karan’)… I love everyone, and he’s (Salman) a big superstar and so humble. Why would I say anything bad about him?”
The segment might be fun for the actress but we are sure the fans of the actors must have not found any part of that as fun. And when it comes to Karan Johar’s show, we don’t remember any celeb calling anyone chichora.
Here’s the video…
The above controversy was preceded by another controversial video featuring Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees heroine Mahira Khan, who in another talk show, said that Pakistani film-makers shouldn’t chase after Bollywood.
