Raveena Tandon was born on 26 October, 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her name is the combination of her parents name Ravi and Veena. She did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu. She studied at Mithibai College, where she completed her first and second year of college. Later she got her first film offer and dropped her studies. She has appeared in the film “Mohra”, which was the second biggest hit of 1994. She has adopted two girls Pooja and Chhaya in 1995 when they were 11 and 8 years old respectively.
Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress, producer and a former model. She has mostly appeared in bollywood and also worked in regional languages like Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. She made her acting debut with the film “Patthar Ke Phool” in 1991 and has won a Filmfare Lux New Face Award for her performance in the film. For her outstanding performance in the movie “Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence”, she achieved National Film Award for Best Actress. Apart from the films, she has also turned host and was seen in many TV shows.
Raveena Tandon was seen in the flick “Maatr”. Written by Michael Pellico and directed by Ashtar Sayed, “Maatr” is a crime thriller drama produced under the banners of CDB Musical in association with Anjum Rizvi Film Co., Manoj Adhikari Production and Pugmark Films Pvt Ltd. It revolves around the story of a mother fighting to get justice for her deceased daughter.
