Priyanka Chopra is one among the most followed Indians across the world. The actress has over 35 million on Instagram alone and over 24 million followers on Twitter. The actress is undoubtedly one of the most loved celebrities across the world. However, even she hasn’t been excused from online trolling and hate. The actress has been on the receiving end of online hate on a few occasions. A recent example being she trolled for marrying Nick Jonas, who is ten years younger than her. However, Priyanka has found her way around the online criticism.
The Quantico actress shared her mantra of staying unaffected by online haters is to look at the positive side of it all. Speaking to Vogue magazine, Priyanka said, “I’ve never really cared about people who talk shit. I mean people who talk shit are shit talkers and their mouths are dirty and not mine. But I think that I am only focused on the people that can be loved and affection. I focus on the positivity and I think that’s what social media always was supposed to be—it was supposed to be connectivity, it was supposed to be bringing people together; not creating a cesspool for people to put out their anger and hate and if they do, that’s their problem.
That’s some amazing food for thought, PeeCee. We’re pretty sure that everyone at BollywoodLife is going to be adopting it.
