Rumour has it that Prabhas will have not one or two but three roles in Baahubali 2: The conclusion! – Prabhas to have a TRIPLE role in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion?
With just 10 days left for the eagerly-awaited Baahubali 2-The Conclusion to hit the screens, the excitement is on an all time high and after this news it might as well triple. As per a report in DNA, Prabhas, who had a double role in Baahubali: The Beginning, is going to be seen in a triple role in The Conclusion. That means a triple treat for the fans! He will be playing Shivudu/Mahendra Baahubali, his father Amarendra Baahubali and also his grandfather. The actor’s double role in the prequel had left fans in a tizzy and if this piece of news comes true then it’s surely going to be hysteric. This will be one of those rare movies where the same actor will be seen in three different roles. “It’s being kept as a big surprise,” a source told the daily.
It’s already known that Prabhas sported two different looks in the first part. While he had a relatively leaner look for Shivudu, he had to bulk up for Mahendra Baahubali’s role. He underwent rigorous training for four long years to look convincing on-screen. The actor’s trainer said in an interview, “As Baahubali, Prabhas had to build a lot of muscle and for the son’s character, Shivudu, he had to look lean. His physique fluctuated for more than four years; that was difficult. Prabhas weighed almost 100 kgs with his body fat percentage staying in the range of 9-10. For the younger character, he had to build a toned body with minimal muscles.” We wonder what his look will be for the role of the grandfather. Can’t wait!
Directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by ARKA Mediaworks, the sequel is going to be 2 hours 50 minutes long. The much-awaited Part 2 will release in 6500 screens worldwide. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.
