At a press conference for her film in Lahore, Pakistani singer and actress Rabi Pirzada claimed that Bollywood, especially movies of Salman Khan, are ruining their youth and promoting crime.
A report in The Express Tribune quoted the actress as saying, "Every other film released in Bollywood happens to be about crime or some criminal activities, especially films of Salman Khan. My question is, what are Indian film-makers teaching the youth? It seems like they are just promoting crime."
"There was a time when Pakistani cinema was at its peak, making films with moral lessons and plots highlighting social ethics. We were educating the society through our films but Bollywood has changed all of that," added Rabi Pirzada.
In February, an old video of Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Irrfan Khan in 'Hindi Medium', had gone viral. In the clip, she can be seen mocking Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Emraan Hashmi and Riteish Deshmukh.
