While Sunny Leone’s sexy item number from Bhoomi has got you tripping, BollywoodLife has learned that the original choice for this special song was Malaika Arora. Yes, the makers wanted to rope in Munni for this Neha Kakkar and Badshah song. So what really made Malaika turn down the offer? Was the song not up to the mark? Or was the actress charging a heavy sum? Well, a source close to the film revealed, “Malaika was approached for the Trippy song first. But when she was approached for the song she had date issues.” Well, Malaika’s loss proved to be Sunny’s gain. Malaika would have added her own charm to the Trippy number, after all she has quite a few hit item numbers in her kitty, just like Sunny.
Coming back to Sunny’s Bhoomi song, it has been well received and everyone seem pretty impressed with this scorching hot number. While Malaika has been hinting that she’d like to be a part of Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 and repeat her Munni Badnam act, Sunny has already ticked three hit special songs this year. Sunny Leone kickstarted the year with Laila Main Laila song in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees. Obviously, it was one of the highlights of the film. The actress’ second item song is from Baadshaho titled Piya More where Sunny is seen romancing Bollywood’s serial kisser, Emran Hashmi. With Bhoomi of course, Sunny has the third hit number under her belt.
While Malaika has been in the limelight and made a few appearances in Salman’s Dabangg, Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year, the actress was last seen in Sonam Kapoor’s Dolly Ki Doli. We think it’s high time that bold and beautiful Ms Arora signs a special number and dances her way to the fans hearts yet again.
