Nick Jonas’ ex Olivia Culpo reacts to his engagement with Priyanka Chopra, and it’s quite a lesson on how exes should be
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have set the Internet on fire with their open PDA at the US Open. We saw pictures of her enjoying the matches with mom, Madhu Chopra, Nick, his brother Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner. The couple got engaged in a roka in Mumbai, which was followed by a starry after-party. The couple are getting hitched next year and preparations are on in full swing. In the middle of all this, Nick Jonas’ former girlfriend Olivia Culpo was asked to comment on her former beau’s engagement. ICYMI, the couple dated for a couple of years from 2013 to 2015. They broke up because they could not apparently handle the stresses of a long-distance relationship.
In a statement to People, Olivia said, “I think that any time anybody can find love, especially in this industry because it’s difficult. You can see there’s a track record of things not working out. So I’m so happy for him. I wish that everybody can find love and happiness. That does not mean that I would not wish that for him.” In fact, Nick and Olivia were supposed to get engaged at one point of time as things were going really strong between them. Fans cannot forget how he serenaded her during the Miss Universe 2014 beauty pageant by going down on one knee.
It is wonderful to see how Olivia has maintained such cordial relations till date. After their split, a source had told E! Now, “This has been a sensitive matter and both of them still love and care about each other and only want the best for one another.” Culpo is currently dating Danny Amendola, a former New England Patriots turned Miami Dolphins footballer.
