Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s style outings were far from being fashionable
In a fashion conscious industry, where being stylish is more of a necessity than a mere choice, there are times when our celebs commit commit some horrendous blunders. We don’t hesitate to applaud our beloved actors for making some stunning sartorial statements. But there are days when they miss the train and end up in our worst dressed category instead. Sometimes the attires are extremely chic but stars fail to justify it. Being stylish and bold with choices isn’t a crime but it should be done well. When the stars fail to strike a chord with the fashion pundits, the end result is them securing a position in the worst dressed category. Joining this not-so-famous list this week are our Southern beauties, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu alongwith divas like Urvashi Rautela and Pooja Hegde. Let’s elaborate on where they went wrong and how…
Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Was it a toddler’s frock that was stitched on a pretty dress instead? Well, it looks so, right? Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who’s otherwise fashionable and impresses us on most of the occasions, surprisingly disappointed us this time. This Dhruv Kapoor yellow printed dress was a nightmare of sorts, to be really honest. The silhouette was unflattering and there was nothing that stood out apart from Samantha’s charming smile.
Kajal Aggarwal is yet another South beauty who impresses us most number of times. Her personal styling is about being comfortable. It’s rarely that you will see her making a blunder that’s hard to correct. Unfortunately her recent fashion outing comes in that category. The Bibhu Mohapatra grey dress, that she opted for an event, was extremely blah. We did like its cut but the overall impact was too dull.
Yellow is the colour of the season and everything that you pick in this shade has to be an instant favourite of ours. Sadly, Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest pick wasn’t that appealing that you wouldn’t hesitate to empty your pockets on. The Shahin Manan yellow jumpsuit failed to have an impact on us and the full sleeves in this weather is a fashion faux pas that even a teenager won’t try to commit.
Pooja Hegde tried her hand at something that would justify her tall frame. The attire was nice or probably it was the silhouette impressed us really. But guess it’s the print that kills all the fun. Too many prints in one attire kill all the fun and makes it look more gawdy instead. Though Pooja’s attire was far from being gawdy, it still didn’t have the wow factor.
We have a problem with the golden lace that glorifies the borders of Urvashi Rautela’s entire attire. Nitya Bajaj’s creation has nothing new to offer but printed separates with a matching jacket. Probably if the attire was sans any golden lace, it would look far better.
