Janhvi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Vaani Kapoor redefine regal with their Sabyasachi outfits – The only way to do style is by not overdoing it. Now, this is not Coco Chanel but your own in house fashion lover who would do anything to see B-town celebs dress like they mean business. If you haven’t followed the trail we’re more than delighted to announce – It’s that time of the week again. The time where we sit down to talk aesthetics and every fibre that made it work. Welcome to the nook that will introduce you to the best dressed celebs of the week. Now, there were a few head-turners, at the #NickYanka reception that happened recently and thanks to personal stylists and shoppers the number of hits definitely went up a notch. Honestly, we couldn’t be more glad. It’s a task to go *tch tch* every time a star walks into a fashion faux pas and it is a rare relief when a couple of them put their best foot forward.
That’s right, we have curated a list of the easy-on-eyes fashionistas and it’s a refreshing one. So, shall we?
As Sabyasachi Mukherjee put it himself, it’s Anushka’s ‘nod to the swinging ’60s.’ We love this hand-embroidered cocktail saree with French knots, hand-cut brass sequins and crystals in colours of sepia-tinted sea-foam. Not to forget the emerald choker and the matching leaf earrings. Just spells regal, doesn’t it?
Now you can easily go wrong when a full sequined piece but got to applaud Janhvi’s nonchalance and ease to pull this one of! Passing as a funky pop queen with the embellishments. Now, this is an experiment we like.
The queen does it again and how! Kangana went with a silk tissue Banarasi saree from the label Taneira and it was elegance personified. She paired it with a rust-coloured blouse and that popped too. But the highlight was definitely the gold necklace by Jaipur gems.
With a embellished bralette and mirror-work lehenga, Vaani stunned us all in this Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation. While it is not something you have not seen the cut and shine of it all made one sit up and notice. She kept the look minimal with a statement earring that she wore with loose curls. Win-win.
Another Sabysachi muse, Deepika was bespoke in this black and golden zardosi lehenga. We especially loved the contrast where it was paired with a black textured khadi blouse and an organza dupatta. Like that wasn’t enough, DP wore a her confidence like an accessory along with another stunning choker.
