Now we all know of the warm bond that the actress shares with Salman Khan and his family. So when their upcoming film, Loveyatri is all set to hit the screens, how can she not do her bit for it? So, she, along with two of her friends, danced to what she calls to be her current obsession – the Chogada song from Loveyatri. The song from the film that stars Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain, has been topping the charts for its folk-inspired beats. No wonder Jacky wanted to shake a leg to it. However, she lent it a western touch.
Chogada is a vibrant track that has the essence of a Gujarati dance track popular during the season. The song has been crooned by Darshan Raval and Asees Kaur. Darshan Raval has penned the lyrics, whose previous Navratri single Aave Navratri was also quite a hit. Lijo George and Dj Chetas have composed the melody. There is something very pleasing about Chogada. Talking about the song, debutant director Abhiraj Minawala had said, “We required a song that had a strong connect to Gujarati culture. And since we’ve mostly seen everything related to the state in a caricaturish way in films, we wanted to highlight its strong points. Our music supervisor got in touch with Chetas and Lijo and they came up with a song in just half an hour.
