Hichki song Phir Kya Hai Gham Rani Mukerji journey to become a teacher was not without hiccups watch video.
Hichki is releasing on March 23 and it is Rani Mukerji‘s comeback to the big screen after Adira’s birth. Of course, that makes it a really important film. Last time, she did a film it was Mardaani which was a successful venture. She gave people hope that everytime she is on the big screen, she will enamour us with her class acting. Thus, similar expectations have been heaped on Hichki as well. It is an unusual film about a woman’s journey to not let her speech defect keep her away from her dreams. But that journey has not been devoid of hiccups. A new song from the film, called Phir Kya Hai Gham released today, which charts the journey she took to fulfil her dream of becoming a teacher.
As you can see in the song, Rani gets rejected everywhere thanks to her defect. She has a speech impediment which makes it difficult for her to get hired. There are some who ask her to stop the noises she makes all the time. But that doesn’t deter her from her resolve.
In Hichki, Rani plays the role of a teacher suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome. The film is now releasing on March 23. In a statement, producer Maneesh Sharma said, “The multiple screenings of ‘Hichki’ saw outstanding reactions. The audience in attendance have called it one of the best content driven and heartwarming movies to ever come out of YRF. So naturally, the reaction of the team is that does Hichki currently have the best release date to get an extended run in cinemas across India.” The film has been directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.
