Deepika Padukone in Padmavati Ghoomar or Bajirao Mastani Deewani Mastani which Sanjay Leela Bhansali song is your favourite pick? – Which is your favourite Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali song?
If we had to describe Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s collaboration in one word then we would definitely call it -MAGIC! I mean, no seriously! The way Bhansali pictures Deepika through his enigmatic vision and the way Deepika lives up to his expectations by bringing dream to reality, their partnership is certainly like what they call, a match made in heaven. Especially if you look at the jaw-dropping songs featuring Deepika in Bhansali’s films. The tradition that started with Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela moved on to Bajirao Mastani and now Padmavati – it’s turning out to be such a beautiful transition from one film to another. Right from the magnetic set to the grand costumes to the enchanting music, it’s like Bhansali and Deepika exactly know how to make grand look grander and create a track that’s good to the eyes as well as the ears.
Today, when I was watching Ghoomar from Padmavati, I yet again couldn’t take my eyes of Deepika. What a stunner and what a gorgeous setting with Deepika twirling her way into our hearts. Indeed, it couldn’t have got any better than this. But having said that, one also cannot deny the fact how Ghoomar has so much resemblance to Deewani Mastani from Bajirao Mastani. No, we are not trying to say Bhansali is getting repetitive with the picturisation of his songs. He in fact is getting better with every next offering of his. But then considering both Bajirao Mastani and Padmavati are period dramas and that even in Deewani Mastani, Deepika danced for Ranveer, we can’t help but draw comparisons between the two. Like, if you watched Ghoomar you would realise how Deepika is dancing to impress Shahid, similar to how she danced for Ranveer in Bajirao Mastani. Even the setting is lit up so similarly.
Nevertheless, we stick by our belief that Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali together are MAGIC and nobody can replace what they create together…How many of you guys agree on this?
