Deepika Padukone gets worried seeing heavy rains in Mumbai, tweets “Please stay safe” – Deepika Padukone has a message for everyone affected by Mumbai Rains. Read tweets.
Mumbai is currently experiencing the worst rains, perhaps the heaviest after the 26th July, 2005 floods. Trains are shut, roadways are blocked, leaving a hundreds of people stranded midway. Today’s sight is terrifying to say the least. While the weather officials have already warned heavy rains to continue for another 24 hours. Deepika Padukone, who was having a Q& A session with her fans this afternoon, just took to Twitter and sent out a concerned message saying, “While I do this, alerts showing up on my phone about the rains in Mumbai. Please stay safe and take care everyone.” Thankfully, the actress hasn’t ventured out anywhere on this rainy day and is safe indoors.
Just this morning we heard reports of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Padmavati getting pushed to April 2018. While some say it’s due to the workers strike that’s currently affecting a lot of films and shows. Many also believe Padmavati was anyway running behind their schedule and that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants more time to better the end product. Deepika however reveals that she’s busy reading scripts for her next film after Padmavati for even during her Q & A today, she signed off saying, “Last 2 questions before I go and read my next script…”
