Catherine Tresa Alexandar was born on 10 September 1990 in Dubai. She has done her grade Twelve in Dubai and moved to Bangalore for higher education. She studied for two years in St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore. She learnt Piano and also got trained in singing, dancing, ice skating and debating.
At the age of 14, Catherine did some amateur modelling assignments for fashion design graduate students. She has modeled for Nalli Silks, Chennai Silks, Fast Track, Josco Jewellers and Deccan Chronicle. She is fluent in Malayalam and always speaks in English at her home.
Catherine Tresa is a model and actress, who appears in South Indian films. She made her acting debut with 2010 Kannada film Shankar IPS. Her first Telugu movie is Chammak Challo (2013), which was failed at the box-office. Later Catherine gained fame with the movies like Paisa, Iddarammayilatho, Rudhramadevi and many more. She was last seen in the movie Sarainodu.
Catherine Tresa has started her film career with Kannada movie in 2010. In the same year she featured in Malayalam movie The Thriller followed with 2011 movie Uppukandam Brothers Back in Action. For her 2012 movie God Father, she has nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Kannada.
