Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hina Khan says she is doing the controversial show to break her ‘bahu’ image
Hina Khan, the face of the popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all set to embark on a new journey. She is sort of becoming a reality TV star. Right after taking part in the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, she has volunteered to face hell in the next season Bigg Boss.
Bigg Boss 11 premieres tonight. And with just few hours to go for Salman Khan to open the show, Hina Khan has confirmed her association. The actress has, over the past few months, denied time and again that she will not be a part of Bigg Boss 11 and that all reports of her participation are baseless rumours. Liar, liar, pants on fire. But we do understand her side of the story- the stringent rules and regulations of the contract kept her away from spilling the beans. But now, an interview confirms her presence. Talking to Hindustan Times, she has said that she is doing the controversial reality show to break her ‘bahu‘ image. “I have been doing Indian television for so long, I want to break that image of me as a bahu. I have seen actors who have done such shows for years and they are never able to come out of that image,” she said.
Bigg Boss 11 will feature controversy favourite producer Vikas Gupta, and her rival actress Shilpa Shinde. Now that is one pair we are super excited to see on the show. Then there is Vikas’ good friend Priyank Sharma, who is known for Roadies and Splitsvilla. Also, Hiten Tejwani is there. It will be great to see these popular celebs fight it out with commoners for the title of the winner for over three months.
