Best-dressed celebs this week Summers are not just about pastels and Kareena, Aishwarya, Disha’s choice of colours prove it
Another week has come to an end and we are here keeping up with our promise to bring you the pictures of celebrities who nailed it with their fashion outings this week. There were many celebs who stepped out this week, but only a few like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Disha Patani impressed us with their choice of outfits. While we think summers are all about pastels, what these ladies wore this week proves that dark colours can be worn in this season too. Let’s check how these stunners nailed their outings and why we adored them.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena has a penchant for green. We told you about that, remember? So it didn’t come as a surprise when we spotted her wearing a green Swapnil Shinde gown while shooting for an ad. Her baby, Taimur, accompanied her to the sets. While there is nothing great about the outfit that Kareena wore, we just like the choice of colour and the manner in which Kareena is carrying it.
Disha was on a promotional spree all this week for her film, Baaghi 2, and we have to admit that most of her choices, when it came to her outfits, were on-point. We specifically loved this red outfit by Deme that she slipped into. And the pretty pink salwar-kurta by Arpita Mehta that is looking so good on her. The white summery dress by Swapnil Shinde made her look like a doll. Although, we would have paired it with a different pair of footwear.
Deepika has been wearing a lot of monochromes in the past few days, but hey, we are not complaining. Especially after seeing her recent look at an even that she attended and won our hearts. She wore a white Proenza Schouler top and black Gucci pants. Pearl earrings and tied hair just added so much more to the whole simple-yet-elegant look.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement party wearing a strapless Osman gown, paired with a Ferragamo satin clutch, and sporting her signature red lip and a wavy do. Black always works, according to us. And here is Aishwarya carrying the gown like a diva. Her two-toned hair is for her look in Fanney Khan, so we can’t really comment on it.
For the launch of her show, Karenjit Kaur on ZEE5, Sunny wore a Parul Maurya noodle strap crop top and olive khadi drawstring pants by Anjali Jani. The make-up and the golden leaf shaped earrings worked with the entire look. While we love what we are seeing, but since it was a launch of her own show, she could have worn something more dressy, perhaps. But apart from that, the outfit does look good on her.
